Members Choice welcomes CT Waco members! 

The vote for CT Waco Federal Credit Union to merge with Members Choice of Central Texas Federal Credit Union has passed and becomes effective at the beginning of business on Friday, April 1, 2022.  What does this mean for you and how will your account be affected?

Here are the answers to some of the questions you may have:  

Will my member/account number change?  If your CT Waco number is 7 digits, there will be no change.  If your number is less than 7 digits, please refer to the letter that was mailed to you on March 28th or call us at 254-776-7070.

Do I need to know anything else about my number?  Yes.  Members Choice uses share IDs to identify the different types of deposits you may have.  Here’s how IDs will be assigned to your CT deposits:  Savings Accounts – 01, Special Savings Accounts – 02, Checking Accounts – 90, Certificates of Deposits – between 41 and 45.

Will I have online access to my account?  Yes.  Go to to register for Online Banking.  Select “click to login” at the top of the menu on left side of the page and then “REGISTER” on the next screen.  All you need is your account number, the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, an email address on file at Members Choice, and your birth date.  If you used online banking at CT Waco, Members Choice will have your email address.  If not, please call or come by a Members Choice office to update your account information.

What will happen with the ACH direct deposits and payments I have setup to my account at CT?  Beginning April 1st, those transactions will be redirected to Members Choice and will continue to post to your account there.  We will notify the originators of these transactions to update the routing number they use to Members Choice.

What is Members Choice’s routing number?  311990058 is the Members Choice routing number for ACH deposits, payments, and wire transfers. 

Can I continue to use my CT Waco debit card?  No.  After March 31, 2022, you will need to replace it with a card from Members Choice.  You may stop by a Members Choice office to get a card for immediate use, or you may call to order a card.  Cards ordered by phone could take up to 10 days to be delivered.  Your PIN will be mailed separately and should arrive a few days after your card.

Can I continue to use my CT Waco ATM card?  No.  After March 31, 2022, a Members Choice ATM card will be ordered for you, and you should receive it in the mail around April 10, 2022.  Your PIN will be mailed separately and should arrive a few days after your card.

Will I have to order new checks?  Not right away.  Your checks will continue to clear your account at Members Choice.  If you still have checks with the CT Waco routing number on December 31, 2022, those will need to be destroyed and replaced.  Your checks will be updated the next time you order checks through Members Choice. 

What if I order my checks through another vendor?  You will need to provide them with the Members Choice routing number and your account number in the 14-digit format.  If you do not know the 14-digit format of your account number, please refer to the letter that was mailed to you on March 28th or call us at 254-776-7070. 

Will automatic share and loan transfers and payments I set up at CT Waco continue to work at Members Choice?  Yes.  On or after your next scheduled transfer or payment date following the merger, please verify they are posting correctly by reviewing your account transactions in Online Banking, on your statement, or by calling Members Choice.

I’m enrolled for e-statements at CT Waco.  Will I continue to receive e-statements from Members Choice?  Your final statement from CT Waco will revert to paper.  To enroll for e-statements with Members Choice, login to Online Banking and make the selection under the “Statements” option.

What services and products does Members Choice offer?  Please see the enclosed brochure for all the services and products offered to you.  Credits cards are listed in the brochure but won’t be available until later this year.

What fees does Members Choice have?  Please refer to the letter that was mailed to you on March 28th or call us at 254-776-7070.

What if I already have an account at Members Choice?  After the merger, you will have two accounts at Members Choice, and they will not be automatically combined.

Does Members Choice hold an Annual Meeting for members?  Yes.  This year’s meeting will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the MCC Conference Center located at 4601 N 19th St, Waco, TX 76708.  The doors open at 5:30 PM and the business meeting starts at 6:00 PM.  Visit for more details.
