Federally Insured Accounts
Members Choice Federal Credit Union accounts are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.

Savings Accounts/Share Accounts
A Members Choice FCU Savings Account entitles a person to membership privileges – it is that member’s share of Credit Union ownership! A competitive dividend is paid monthly to qualifying accounts. The account may accept direct deposit or payroll deduction. Account statements are available and are mailed on a quarterly basis. E-Statements are available. A minimum opening deposit of $5 is required and must be maintained in order to continue Members Choice membership privileges and the use of products and services. Under Federal Regulation, transfers from a Share Savings Account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic or telephone transfer are limited to six per month.

Term Share Certificates (CD’s)
Competitive dividend rates on terms of 6 months to 4 years. Early withdrawal penalties & fees could reduce earnings. Rates are subject to change. Please call 254-776-7070 or 800-283-5343 with questions.

Money Market Accounts
Members Choice FCU Money Market accounts are available at the low minimum balance of $2500. These accounts offer high yields, with fast access to your money when you need it. Because they are tiered accounts, you’re ensured that you earn more when you save more. Make deposits as often as you want and for added convenience, you may even write up to three checks per month. Under Federal Regulation, transfers from a Share Money Market Account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic or telephone transfer are limited to six per month. If this limitation is exceeded on a regular basis, we are required to convert your account to another account that permits unlimited check writing privileges.

IRAs
Members Choice FCU will help you save for your retirement years. It is never too early to start planning and we will help you find the retirement account that is right for you. A Roth IRA or traditional IRA offers a short-term or long-term maturity. And, a Coverdell Education IRA is a tax-free way to save for higher education. Traditional Certificates, Roth Certificates and Educational IRA Certificates are available with competitive rates. IRA accounts may be opened by any wage earner and offer many members tax-savings advantages. Consult your tax advisor for tax deductibility.
